Yolanda Foster Admits ‘I Changed’ During Marriage To David Foster

Yolanda Hadid opened up on The Dr. Oz Show about not only her failed marriage but also her ongoing battle with Lyme disease.

She and David Foster decided to end their four-year marriage in the midst of her health crisis and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star doesn’t blame him.

She told Dr. Mehmet Oz the dealing with a chronic illness changes the dynamic of a relationship. "The patient suffers, but the caretakers suffer too. Because life doesn't only change for us, it changes for the person next to you," she said.

The former model admitted that her lifestyle changed, no David’s. "At the end of the day, David never changed, I changed," she explained. "Unfortunately, these are the cards that life dealt me. It wasn't by choice. But I'm not the woman I used to be and I probably will never be again.”

His focus is on his career, at concerts and traveling, while hers is on trying to find a cure. Yolanda revealed earlier this year that her two children, Bella and Anwar Hadid, also have Lyme.

She confessed on the show that her children make her want to keep fighting and not give up on life.

"My children are what kept me alive,” Yolanda said. "They're the ones that kept me fighting and wanting to live. There were many days that I really didn't want to live anymore.”
