WATCH: Still A Wildcat! Zac Efron Addresses His Absence During The High School Musical Cast Reunion
Don’t worry fans, Troy Bolton still has his head in the game! Zac Efron sent out a message to his cast members apologizing for his absence during the High School Musical 10 year anniversary reunion special.
In a video, Zac said he was sorry he couldn’t make it but he was there “in spirit.”
Smiling from ear to ear, Zac admitted that his favorite scene from the movie is the “We’re All In This Together” number. “The unity, the whole cast in that moment was just really, really fun. I’ll never forget that day of filming,” he said.
His co-stars Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Lucas Grabeel, Monique Coleman, and even his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens watched the special video. A source revealed to OKMagazine.com exclusively that she was the reasoning behind his absence.
The 28-year old actor gushed about the whole HSM experience calling it the “coolest thing" that he has ever been a part of.
To assure fans and his cast members that he wished he "could've joined the fun in person," he sent out a tweet before the special aired.
