Darth Vader Commercial Little Boy Revealed: Meet 6-Year-Old Max Page!

The Super Bowl commercial for Volkswagen Passat featuring a tiny Darth Vader became an instant success before the game even started! So who is the adorable Darth Vader? Meet 6-year-old Max Page!

Little Max stopped by the Today show with his mom, Jennifer Page, to talk about his hit Super Bowl commercial.

“It actually wasn’t until halfway through the first day of filming that we even knew it was a Super Bowl commercial,” Jennifer said. “I was like, ‘Whoa, this is out of this world!’ ”

This wasn't Max's first TV appearance as he's been performing since he could walk and had a recurring role on The Young and the Restless.

But Max has had to fight for his stardom as he was diagnosed when he was an infant with the heart defect Tetralogy of Fallot.

“He had his first surgery when he was 3 months old at Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles,” Max's mom said. “They saved his life and gave him back to us about a week after his first surgery. He had to have a pacemaker put in, so he has maintenance on that."
