'Project Runway' Judge Michael Kors Gets Married

Project Runway judge and uber successful designer Michael Kors tied the knot yesterday with longtime partner Lance LePere in the Hamptons.

According to E! News, Mayor Mark Epley officiated the ceremony on Dune Beach in Southampton, N.Y. Merely two weeks ago Michael hinted the nuptials were imminent when he dropped a hint they would be getting married privately. They were also spotted at City Hall picking up a marriage license earlier in the month.

Recently in a statement to OK! the Project Runway judge said, “Lance and I are very excited to finally be able to have the opportunity to marry in our home state after many years together."

Many years indeed! As noted by E! News, the couple actually met in 1990 when Lance interned at Michael's fashion house; they started to fall in love once they spent time in Paris and the rest, as they say, is history.
