OK! Exclusive: Gretchen Rossi Reveals The Reason She Didn't Show Up To Her May Wedding To Slade Smiley
June 25 2015, Updated 8:46 p.m. ET
Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley called off their May 23 wedding, but that doesn't mean the long-time loves won't become husband and wife someday! The former Real Housewives of Orange County star exclusively revealed to OKMagazine.com the real reason she didn’t tie the knot with her boyfriend and how they’re not giving up on their dream of welcoming a baby.
“Unfortunately, fairly quickly we found out that a lot of family members already planned trips for that Memorial Day weekend so we were unable to have it that weekend,” she explained.
Although the couple’s busy work schedules are leaving future wedding plans up in the air, she insisted that the couple will “eventually get married.”

Rossi even predicted that her future nuptials will be a reality star-studded event.
“Lydia McLaughlin, Terry and Heather Dubrow, Jeana Keough, Lauri Peterson and Peggy Tanous, and lot of the other housewives in other franchises would probably be invited,” she dished.
But one thing the couple isn’t pushing back is their plan to welcome a child.
“We’re still trying to have a baby,” Rossi said. “I have a three bedroom home. One of the bedrooms I turned into a closet and the other we now need to make into a nursery hopefully.”

“Overtime you don’t even realize how much stuff you accumulate,” she explained. “That’s the situation for me. I heard about this new company by the name of Clutter that was in the Los Angeles area that was moving down to the Orange County area. It is something that no other storage unit offers.”

She added of the service, “They take pictures of every single item that I have and they store it for me and they put all the pictures up online. Anytime that I need something I go on, I let them know what item it is that I want, and they deliver it back to my front door. It sounded like an awesome service that I was excited about using.”
