Kelly Killoren Bensimon has received a lot of negative media attention for her erratic behavior on this past season of Real Housewives of New York. Referred to by frenemy Bethenny Frankel as "Kel-amity" or "one flew over the cuckoo's nest," many attributed Kelly's actions to a nervous breakdown. Now, the the strong-willed mother of two has her boxing gloves ready and is defending her actions in the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar.

"I'm embarrassed that I allowed myself to feed into it, but I don't think I would handle it differently," Kelly told Harper's Bazaar of her actions this season. "The ratings were amazing, so no, absolutely not... I don't have any regrets. I'm glad I went on Housewives because the show has made me more known."

As for her mental state, Kelly explained,  "I am not crazy. I am unpredictable. I'm not in therapy."

Kelly feels the rest of her Housewives co-stars would pick on her no matter how she acted.

"Whether it's my nail color, my hair color, or the shoes I'm wearing, everything about me bothers them," she added. "They want to go to the parties I go to, they want to hang out with me, they want to do the things that I'm doing."

One way that Kelly feels she has separated herself from the other women and the show was her recent Playboy cover.
