Taking a break from filming Rock of Ages in Miami, Malin Akerman took a trip to San Diego for Comic-Con over the weekend, but revealed to OK! that there was one “superhero” missing from the pack - her co-star Tom Cruise, that is!

“He is beyond unbelievable,” the 33-year-old told OK! of Tom while out at the Maxim/FX Party at Comic-Con, “He is such a hard worker. He’s so focused. You know, Tom Cruise is superhuman. He’s a superhero in his own sense, because anything he puts his mind to, he can do.”

Admiring her cast mate’s talent, Malin explained that Tom is so amazing at getting into his rock star character, Stacee Jaxx, that it’s almost uncanny.

“I watched the first sort of live performance that he did where we had 400 extras, we were in this big night club which was set up sort of as the Bourbon Room, and I stood there and I felt like I was at a Poison concert, or a Def Leppard concert,” Malin told OK! on Friday night.

And it’s not just Tom’s acting abilities that Malin appreciates! The Couple’s Retreat star joked about the 49-year-old’s rock hard body exclaiming, “For his age. What?”

Rock of Ages, also starring Russell Brand and Catherine Zeta-Jones, is set to be released in theaters in June of 2012.
