Vegan handbag designer and entertaining guru Cornelia Guest is a busy woman, no doubt. But just like any girl ready to switch out her bikinis for riding boots or summer romance novels for primetime TV, Cornelia has very special plans for the autumn season. Check out her bucket list to find out what she’ll be watching, baking, applying, (that makeup is a must-have!) where she’d love to travel, and more.
I’d Love to Visit: Africa. I have never been, and I love animals and conservation. And the people are amazing.
I’d Love to Try This New Recipe: I have been experimenting with gluten-free flour. My Cornelia Guest Cookies are not gluten-free, so I’m trying to do a gluten-free version. When I perfect it, I’ll let you know.
I Want to Support: An animal foundation. To help animals is my main goal in life. There are so many different organizations who do so much. They all need money. The more we can educate the public on the horrors of slaughterhouses and animal testing, the happier I’ll be. I love the Humane Society of New York for the work they do with the city’s animals. Strays are brought back to great health and adopted into wonderful families. The hospital there is fantastic. They never turn anyone away! Also, Farm Sanctuary rescues so many animals and works on all regulations and laws to protect them. It’s always an uphill battle, but they keep going to make a difference.
Makeup Product I’d Love to Experiment With: I’ll try anything from MAC—it’s simply the best.
I Want to Rejuvenate With a Facial: I swear by Aida Bicaj. Her facials are transforming—as are her products.
I Want to Dine at My Favorite Restaurants: New York City’s Candle Café West, La Grenouille, Bar Italia, Long Island’s Basil Leaf. Lumani and Centro Cucina, and Los Angeles’ Il Piccolino.
Movies and TV Shows I Want to Catch Up On: I just LOVE James Spader’s new show Blacklist. I can’t wait to see Gravity, as I’m a huge Sandra Bullock fan.
I Want to Stick With a Workout Routine: I do pilates every morning with Alexandra Farhni. She knows the body better than anyone. She’s the best—I adore her! When I’m in Long Island, I’ll do yoga with Lily at Lamystika.
