There’s no better way to celebrate the independence of America than by independently watching whatever you want on TV this weekend! Or something like that. Here’s some TV suggestions that’ll get you started on your July 4th TV binge-watching sesh, which starts right…now:
Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular. Friday at 8pm on NBC. Nick Cannon hosts the annual event that takes place over the Brooklyn Bridge. This year’s performers are Lionel Richie, Miranda Lambert, and obviously Ariana Grande because she gets invited everywhere these days.
Philly’s 4th of July Jam. Friday at 8pm on Vh1. But if hip-hop is more your speed, watch this live Independence Day special, hosted by Marlon Wayans and featuring performances from The Roots, Ed Sheeran, Nicki Minaj and others.
Bad Teacher. Saturday at 8pm on CBS. Fred Savage directs the never-before-seen episode 6 of the new series that got the ax midway through its season. At least now you can still watch new episodes on weekends?
The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Kandi’s Wedding. Sunday at 8pm on Bravo. Finally we see Kandi and Todd tie the knot in the finale, but as per youge, it’s not a Bravo wedding without a little dramz. Here’s a glimpse:
Witches of East End. Sunday at 9pm on Lifetime. Season 2 is a bit darker than season 1, and the premiere picks up a week after the events of the finale.
