OK! Talks Selena Gomez Fashion With Blogger Monroe Steele
To put it simply, Selena Gomez is a wonder. She can act, knows how to belt out a tune, and in the past, even scooped up one of the hottest celebs out there. Seriously, when is the Biebs not trending?

But one of her most magical talents (Wizards of Waverly Place pun intended) is her ability to style up an outfit from head to toe. Her braid and red-hot performance outfit at the MTV Movie Awards had us talking for days. As per usual, Selena is having quite the stylish week. She was seen in a pair of floral stacks, and most recently, in this edgy black outfit.
When we saw this dynamtic outfit that mixed a classic trench with trendy, knee-high , we knew it had to be dissected—and pronto at that.
We turned to fashion blogger Monroe Steele of Fashion Steele for her take on the outfit that Selena wore to the Late Show With David Letterman.
What we absolutely were dying to know? Yep! You guessed it—her opinion on the shoes.
"Of course I am in love with the shoes! They are fantastic and right on trend being caged and showing some skin and a peep toe is always fun," says Monroe.

OK! News: Who Is Selena Gomez's Celebrity Crush?
While the coat is definitely a wardrobe staple in our book, Monroe wouldn't have paired it with those specific shoes. So if the coat is a no-go, what would have been a better choice? Well, If Monroe was in charge of taking the look to the next level, she would have picked another classic—a denim jacket.
The accessory department wasn't something that Selena really played up in this look. If it was to give the shoes all the room to show, we understand. If you look closely though, there aren't any rings, bracelets, or dangly earrings in sight. Mind you, her hands are in her pockets, but you get the picture. Monroe had some ideas for that, too!
"A great Michael Kors watch and some funky bracelets from a mixture of Giles and Brother and Marc by Marc Jacobs would have added a punch of fun to her wrist. Shopbop is a favorite online store of mine for great jewelry and accessories," she says.
If Monroe could take the shoes and make her own outfit, she'd pull a more casual look by throwing her hair up in a topknot, grabbing a pair of denim cutoffs, and pairing it all together with a white tee and an oversized blazer.
Sounds cute, right? Overall, we're fans of Monroe's ideas AND Selena's picks.
