On The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Kristen Stewart beamed a megawatt smiel at Taylor Lautner. She made the audience laugh by tossing grapes in his mouth and frequently patted his leg as they sat together. "It's clear that they are best friends, and we love that," wrote a blogger about the Nov. 18 appearance by the cast of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1. But one person did not love it: Kristen's boyfriend and co-star, Robert Pattinson, who erupted backstage.

Once the cameras were turned off, Rob didn't try to pretend. "He hit the roof," says an insider. "He told them that their behaviour made him look stupid."
Even though Rob, 25, and Kristen, 21, are a solid couple, there has always been some competition between Rob and Taylor, 19. "He's the clear fan favorite, but Rob has always felt threatened by Taylor," says an insider. "So seeing him and Kristen fawning all over each other was a trigger. He thought it was excessive, insensitive and that Kristen was enjoying making him jealous."
