OK! Exclusive: Rihanna Calls Karrueche Tran To End Feud, Comforts Model During Chris Brown Baby Scandal

After breaking up with Brown on Twitter once she learned the singer had allegedly fathered a child outside their relationship, Tran put on a strong face, going out with her friends just hours after their split. And though she continues to appear to be handling the breakup well, a source close to Tran told OK! that she’s still devastated by the baby revelation.

"Kae was completely blindsided," the source said. "She never imagine something of this magnitude could come out of nowhere -- even with Chris"

But Tran’s close friends aren’t the only people trying to lift the heartbroken model’s spirits. Insiders close to Tran say Brown’s ex-girlfriend Rihanna has even reached out to offer her encouragement to her former nemesis.

“Kar was in a total mess when Rihanna intervened,” the insider said. “Rihanna gave her the boost she needed to use this to her advantage, boost her profile and show Chris she’s not looking back.” The pair have previously had some serious tension between them, which peaked during Brown’s brief reunion with Rihanna back in 2013. At that time, Brown admitted to dating both of the girls at the same time, and Rihanna also took a few digs at Tran on social media and even in her 2011 hit song “Birthday Cake.” Yet, with Rihanna’s recent convo with Tran, it looks like the pair are finally taking steps to squash their differences.
