George Clooney has quite the party house that attracts many celebrity guests to visit — including Walter Cronkite. George shared a story with David Letterman last night about the time he pulled a prank on Walter.
George loves to entertain at his home in Lake Como, Italy almost as much as he loves to play pranks on people. So, why not combine the two?
The handsome actor shared a story on the Late Show With David Letterman last night about prank he pulled on a then-90-year-old Walter — that resulted in him jumping in the lake!
“We did one of those things where he said, ‘Do we dress for dinner?’ and, of course, we don’t, and I said, ‘Yes’ and there’s about 15 of us. So he came out in a navy jacket and captain’s hat and we were all in robes at the table. He said something that I’m actually not allowed to repeat on television.”
So Walter went back in to change again.
“And while he did we all ran upstairs, changed and put on suits,” George said.
What did Walter do then?
“He came out in long shorts and walked by us and was like, ‘B******s'” George recalled. “And he jumped in the lake.”
