I admit it. I'm a sucker for a video trend. When "Call Me Maybe" came out, I probably watched Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and the US Olympic Swim Team's version of the video way more than Carly Rae Jepsen's original. Okay, full disclosure? I may actually never have seen Carly's video. . . whoops! And with "Gangnam Style"? Well, I just could not get enough of that horse dance. When PSY or anyone who cued up that catchy song and got that infectious dance going—I was mesmerized and it just made my day.
So, of course I'm now officially and unabashedly hooked on the "Harlem Shake." Haven't heard of it? It's the newest video craze that basically works like this. One person starts dancing while everyone ignores them—at first. Within minutes, a dance party breaks out to a catchy song that will make you say, "Gangnam what?"
