Prince William may support his brother Prince Harry’s relationship with Meghan Markle, but a source close to the royal family claims there are still objections to the romance.
A source told OK! exclusively that members of the royal family are concerned Meghan’s Los Angeles upbringing may have given her an insatiable craving for fame. The 35-year-old’s choice to work in Hollywood does nothing to calm their fears.
The royals also worry that Meghan’s past divorce from Hollywood agent/producer Trevor Engelson could negatively affect her relationship with Harry. The famous redhead’s father Prince Charles “would much prefer Harry’s wife to have no baggage.”
Charles is, of course, well known for his failed marriage to Princess Diana, and his brother Prince Andrew’s marriage to Sarah Ferguson ended miserably after ten years. “He doesn’t want another messy royal split,” the insider confessed.

The royals also aren’t thrilled with Meghan’s skin-revealing body of work, from photo shoots to love scenes for her USA show Suits.
It looks like Harry's work defending his girlfriend isn't over yet. He already issued a statement condemning the public's treatment of Meghan, but he may need to face his own family as well.
