That’s one way to boost ratings!
Bethenny Frankel will appear on season seven of the Real Housewives of New York City, Us Weekly reports.
Her new gig comes at the perfect time for her and producers, as her TV daytime show, Bethenny, was cancelled in February. Ratings for RHONYC dropped by one million viewers during season six, forcing producers to have a cast shakeup.
The announcement comes four years after Frankel left the show that made her a household name. The Skinnygirl creator went off to star in the Bravo spin-offs, Bethenny Getting Married? and Bethenny Ever After. Both shows, which produced high ratings, chronicled her relationship with her now-ex husband, Jason Hoppy, and the birth of their daughter Bryn.
Frankel joins current cast members Ramona Singer, LuAnn de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Heather Thomson, Carole Radziwill and Kristen Taekman.
