As OK! has reported, Amal, 36, is sick of George’s drinking, but insiders say that may be the least of her complaints. She is now starting to fret about his womanizing past. “His friends make jokes about when he’ll first cheat on Amal,” says a source. “To think he’ll be faithful to one woman forever is just not realistic.”

And he will always have his choice of beauties: George, 53, has stayed close with most of his former flames, exchanging phone calls with Elisabetta Canalis, Sarah Larson and others. For his part, George is having second thoughts too — mostly about having kids. “He’s tried telling Amal that he really didn’t think it through when he said he wanted to start a family,” says a source. “And she’s just totally heartbroken. She’s always dreamed of having children.”

They have also fought over finances. “Amal makes good money, but she will be working less as she travels the world with George,” says a source. “His lawyers won’t let him marry without a prenup protecting his assets.”

The bottom line: The road to the altar for the notorious bachelor and the international lawyer is still full of potholes. As the source reveals, “No one in George’s inner circle will be surprised if the wedding never happens.”
