Kandi Burruss finally received some of the answers she was looking for regarding her strained friendship with Phaedra Parks when she chatted with her fellow housewife during the ladies' trip to the Philippines.
While receiving a foot-and-scalp massage at their resort on Sunday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Burruss asked Parks directly if she still had any issues with her. Burruss claimed that after she had a talk with Parks a few weeks before they left Atlanta, she’d been told by other people that Parks was still saying negative things about her.
“Why does everyone feel like me and you are having issues, and I don’t know we've got issues?” Burruss questioned. “What are you saying to them when I’m not around to make them feel like we’re having all these kind of problems?
Parks then let Burruss know that the only real comment she had made to their mutual friends was that she and Burruss hadn’t consistently kept in touch over the past few months. But in her confessional Parks added that there was still a “little distance” between her and Burruss and she still felt “a little bit abandoned” by her friend when it came to Burruss lack of support for her during her marriage's breakdown.
However, both ladies eventually agreed that miscommunication may have been the cause for their distance, and they’d try to do better in the future. Now that’s how you resolve a problem, ladies!
