Just weeks after giving birth to son Bronx Mowgli, Ashlee Simpson has been out and about, and now she's taking to the Internet to tell her fans all about the joys of being a new mom.
"Hey everyone! I haven't written in a while, just wanted to write and check in! Motherhood is the most fantastic experience I have ever been thru, Bronx makes me laugh and smile everyday!" she writes on her MySpace Celebrity blog.
But even young mothers need some time to have fun too, so Ashlee ventured out twice this week to support her husband, Pete Wentz.
"I finally left the house for Fall Out Boy's show on Monday night, which was so good. Their new songs sound awesome live, I can't wait for their new record." she writes.
The fun didn't stop there however, as Ashlee headed to Gallery 1988 in L.A. for an art show exhibiting original work by Pete and his Gym Class Heroes friend, Travis McCoy. While the party was hosted by Venomy Energy drinks, Ashlee stuck strictly to non-alcoholic "mocktails."
"It's amazing to see how many artistic outlets those boys have!" she blogs of the shindig. "Made me very proud. It was an awesome show and so many of our friends and family came out to support."
The gushing gal signs off with a holiday wish for her fans, saying, "I hope you guys have a great holiday, I can't wait to spend it with my new family. Christmas tree goes up tomorrow!"
Good to know!
