Joe Don Rooney, 32, recently celebrated his birthday in Phoenix with wife, Tiffany, by his side. “Every year we’re on the road for my birthday,” he tells me. “We flew in some friends, and then we went to San Diego and San Bernardino, so she rode with me on the bus. It was a good present to spend time with her.”

The trio’s fifth album Still Feels Good is in stores today. How have things changed for he and his bandmates, Gary LeVox, 37, and Jay DeMarcus, 36, since 2006’s Me and My Gang?

“Our personal lives are figured out,” the guitarist tells me. “We’ve got great wives and great lives.”

Joe Don tells me God introduced him to his wife of one year, who was Playboy Playmate of the Year in 2005.

“The most amazing thing about her is just how sweet she is, what a great-hearted human being she is, how much she cares about people and how she treats people,” he says. “I’ve found that in her from day one. She makes me a better man.”

The pretty pair can’t wait to start a family.

“One of these days we’re going to have some babies together,” he tells me. “I can’t wait. I hope they look just like her because she’s so beautiful.”
