Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth's big engagement news not only surprised us, but it shocked their families as well.
Two months ago, Liam's big brother and fellow actor Chris Hemsworth weighed in on the marriage rumors surrounding Liam and Miley. And despite their obvious love for one another, Chris was pretty confident that his 22-year-old brother Liam and 19-year-old Miley wouldn't be walking down the aisle anytime soon.
"They're like 21 or something... I can't see that happening," Chris told E! News when asked about the young Hollywood stars possibly getting engaged.
"You have to ask him Liam about his relationship," Chris added.
And although it's been some time since Chris gave his two cents on Liam's relationship, it sounds like the Snow White and the Huntsman star still feels the same way. Sorry Chris, but Liam is officially engaged to Miley.

When asked at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night if he thought Liam would be getting down on one knee soon, Chris said, "Not that I know of... it would be a shock, wouldn't it?" Well Chris, yes. Yes, it was. But time to accept it!
"Life is beautiful. Thank you for all the love today :)" Miley Tweeted this morning. "I'm happy to share this news with you all. I feel like all my dreams are coming true. ❤ have a great day."
