Move over, Hawkins, Indiana — it seems The Upside Down is coming for the beauty world too. Ahead of Stranger Things' highly-anticipated fourth season set to hit Netflix on May 27, MAC Cosmetics has collaborated with the streaming giant on a brand new makeup collection inspired by the beloved series.
"Coming of age in a small town in the '80s, I completely relate to the vibe and characters of Stranger Things," MAC Senior Artist Fatima Thomas explained in a press release detailing the collection, which will be available for puchase at ulta.com, target.com and maccosmetics.com starting on May 15.
"This collaboration perfectly captures the essence of the era: spirited, adventurous and fun."

It seems one aspect of what makes this collaboration so "spirited, adventurous and fun," as Thomas put it, is the collections' opposite yet cohesive elements. Consisting of two eyeshadow palettes, six Lipglasses, two blushes and two brushes, the collection features two very distinct — but both quintessentially Stranger Things — aesthetics.
One half of the collection is bright and bold, featuring hues inspired by the totally-'80s world of Hawkins High School. The other draws influence from The Underworld‚ a.k.a The Upside Down, including dark, dramatic colors that Dominic Skinner, MAC's Senior Global Artist, says will "empower you to take on any Demogorgon."
