Miley Cyrus looked edgier than ever leaving the The Bowery Hotel in New York City last Saturday, May 8, on her way to perform on Saturday Night Live.
The pop star rocked an all black look featuring a menswear Padded Shoulder Pinstripe Jacket from Junya Watanabe's Fall 2021 collection — current pieces from Junya Watanabe retail for upwards of $3,000.
The statement blazer fit oversized on the singer and was complete with broad shoulder pads and a pinstriped pattern that Cyrus brought out with a white undershirt. The "Wrecking Ball" singer outfitted her bold look with matching black trousers and black and gold accessories — very on brand with Cyrus' everyday style.
The 28-year-old hid her face under a pair of Dior Vintage 80S Sunglasses and a black face mask, following safety protocols amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Her look was complete with black Gianvito Rossi Sharyon Ankle Boots with pointed toes and a black and gold Fendi Peekaboo Studded Bag valued at $3,870, topping off her high-end look with gold jewelry.
The single star — whose divorce with longtime love Liam Hemsworth was finalized in early 2020 — stopped to take pictures with fans on her way out of the Bowery Hotel before heading to SNL.
Cyrus performed "Light of a Clear Blue Morning", "Without You" and "Plastic Hearts" as the musical guest on the much-anticipated SNL episode Saturday, May 8, hosted by Elon Musk.
