Looking for a sign to add a fun pop of color to your daily wardrobe? Just take it from OK!’s E-Commerce Editor Haley Gunn and her must-have summer sneakers.

Haley says it was seemingly love at first sight when it came to Nike’s green and pink Air Max Dawn Casual Shoes.

“I saw these and loved the color instantly,” the writer explains, citing her self-described “thing for a green/pink combo” as what drew her to the sportswear offering.

But even with her passion for the palette, Haley was hesitant to make the plunge, seemingly nervous about how the colors would fare with the rest of her wardrobe — that was until she saw just how cool these shoes could look in action.

“I held off on buying until I saw a fitness influencer wear them,” she says, joking that she was “for sure influenced” to snag the shoes. And it seems this influence was ultimately for the best, with Haley raving about how “happy” she is to have finally made the purchase.

“They're perfect for casual wear to dress up an athleisure outfit but also very comfortable and supportive,” Haley dishes.

Part of why the vintage-inspired kicks pair so well with seemingly any item of clothing, Haley shares, comes down to their unexpected ability to play well with others.

“Even though they're colorful I feel like they've been an unsuspecting neutral,” she says, citing their “‘80s sneaker vibe.”

“The colorful/vintage sneaker trend is definitely in,” Haley continues. “I think these are perfect for those who want to try the trend but may be apprehensive.”
