Loni Works It Out: Gimme Some Sugar!

I had the pleasure of hanging out with Jenny Craig's spokes-hottie Nicole Sullivan the other night at Gotham Comedy Club. She managed to drop 35 pounds by eating right and walking (YES! WALKING!) 1000 steps 3 times a week. Amazing right? And she looks H-O-T!!!

Anyway, while I was busy sipping low-cal cocktails and LOLing at the comedienne, she brought up her weakness: cheese. Well, "cheesy sauce" to be exact. To quote her, "I would eat a stapler if you dipped it in cheesy sauce."

LONI WORKS IT OUT: I AM UNSTABLE

Now, I on the other hand could take or leave creamy cheddar covered whatever, BUT, I think you all know that for me chocolate is a whoooole different ball game. So I'd like to share a recipe with you that I accidentally created. It is too good to be true, super healthy, and to be quite honest, I'd be a heckuva lot meaner (and would be caught sneaking into Carvel late at night incognito) without it.

LONI'S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE CHOCOLATE-COVERED STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM

You need:

1 scoop of Jay Robb's Chocolate Protein

1 teaspoon of real, organic unsweetened cocoa powder

5 frozen strawberries

5 ice cubes

1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk

1 non-sucky blender

Put the strawberries and milk in first, then ice cubes, then protein, then cocoa. DELISH! Let me know what you think!

P.S. It's important to remember that desserts aren't the only way to reward yourself! Save up your weekly fro-yo budget and you can reward yourself with a mani/pedi, blowout, new shoes, or other fab things! My buddy James (of the very fabulous James Corbett Studio and Spa) suggests getting a monthly massage!
