Dancing With The Stars host Brooke Burke-Charvet has revealed she has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
The 41-year-old mother-of-four revealed the news herself via a YouTube video on Thursday where she was positive and said she had "never felt better."
The television personality revealed that she spent the summer undergoing numerous amounts of tests after discovering a nodule in her throat and then got the devastating news that it was cancerous.
"I got my results back and they were not good," she said. "I need to have thyroid surgery and a thyroidectomy, which means I'm going to have a nice big scar right here across my neck."
"I don't get to just walk around and pretend like nothing happened or not follow up or not share it, because it's going to be pretty much dead center. I don't want anybody to read about it and get the wrong idea, or think that I'm sick, because I'm not."

Although initially not even telling her mom until she had a chance to digest the information, Brooke revealed that she has now booked the surgery and that she is "going to be fine."
"I feel really, really strong. Doctors say this is a 'good' kind of cancer to have," she added. "My doctor did tell me this is a happily ever after ending kind of thing."
