'Jersey Shore' Stars Put Up Their Dukes in Italy

Sounds like cast members of Jersey Shore have quite a situation on their hands! Reports are swirling that roommates Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino put up their dukes while filming in Italy. In fact, "The Situation" himself needed medical attention earlier this week. Find out more after the jump!

MTV told E! News, "Monday evening, Mike received medical attention after an accidental injury in the house,. He was treated and is now at home with the rest of the cast." Despite the statement, it looks like perhaps the injury was more than it was originally chalked up to be.

According to photos snapped by TMZ, it appears that Ronnie's knuckles were bruised up and Mike's face was sporting quite the shiner. The reason behind the punches? Apparently the two stars got into it after Ronnie had a tiff with his on-again-off-again-on-again girlfriend, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola. Needless to say, the verdict's still out as to whether or not the actual brawl was caught on camera as the show films in Florence, Italy.
