However, Drake later changed his tune about showing off his child to the world. "It was great to just share that with the world," he said told Lil Wayne on his Apple Music show, Young Money Radio with Lil Waynein May. "I just woke up one morning and I was like, you know what? This is just something that I want to do. I want to be able to go places with my son and share memories with my son. I don't want to feel like just because of a life choice I made to be a 'celebrity' that I got to make everybody live under this blanket ... I just wanted to free myself of that."

Since then, the ‘God’s Plan’ singer hasn't been shy about sharing snapshots of Adonis on the 'gram. In honor of Father's Day, Drake posted a photo of his son wearing long-sleeve pajamas in bed. "Happy Fathers Day to all the real g'z handling business," he wrote.

After rumors went around that Drake was a father, he finally confirmed the news when his Scorpion album was released in June 2018. The world went crazy when the singer rapped about being a single father in 'March 14' and referenced Adonis again in his ‘Emotionless’ song. "I wasn't hiding my kid from the world/ I was hiding the world from my kid," Drake sings. The former Degrassi star also mentioned his son in '8 Out Of 10' when he rapped, "Kiss my son on the forehead, then kiss your ass goodbye / As luck would have it / I've settled into my role as the good guy."

It seems Adonis is ready to take on the world as he heads off to school. Good luck, little man!
