According to 51-year-old actor Doug Hutchison, love is ageless and that's why he just married a 16-year-old.

Doug, known for his roles in The Green Mile, Lost and The X-Files, married an aspiring country singer named Courtney Alexis Stodden on May 20 in Las Vegas, E! News reports.
And while some people may be bothered by their age difference, the couple say it's true love, despite being 35 years apart in age.

"We're aware that our vast age difference is extremely controversial," Doug and Courtney said in a statement to E! News through their spokeswoman.
"But we're very much in love and want to get the message out there that true love can be ageless."
