Aliens in America’s Adhir Kalyan is leaving the midwest for Tinseltown. He’ll guest star on an episode of Nip/Tuck in the upcoming season. Adhir plays a 17-year-old medical wunderkind that Drs. McNamara and Troy bring into their practice to help them with a procedure, a show spokesperson confirms to the TV Fanatic. “It’s very much Doogie Howser-esque,” the actor says. Just like his role of Raja on Aliens, Adhir’s Nip/Tuck alter-ego will be a brilliant scholar who’s got his foot firmly caught on the socially awkward rung. Ah, the plight of the brainiac! Nip/Tuck is slated to return to FX this summer.
