Young actresses in Hollywood are often competitive about movie roles and body fat, but Lindsay Lohan and Amanda Bynes are keeping score about criminal car offenses.

The past few months, Amanda's held the lead after she got her license suspended for two hit and runs and a suspected DUI. The Nickelodeon star didn't seem to care or notice and kept on driving (erratically) around L.A. until she was finally pulled over and her car was seized for good.

Meanwhile, Lindsay has a long, storied past of automobile drama and made headlines again this morning after hitting a man in NYC and fleeing the scene of the crime.

This is ironic, considering LiLo's been Tweeting about how unfair it is Amanda didn't get the same treatment she did for her getting arrested driving on a suspended license in 2007.

“Why did I get put in jail and a nickelodeon star has had NO punishment(s) so far?” she Tweeted on Sunday night.

For her part, Amanda loathes being compared to the Mean Girls actress, complaining she's never been arrested for drugs (Lindsay was caught with cocaine) and isn't nearly as out of control.

"I HATE being compared to her," she reportedly texted a friend this morning.

"Amanda thinks it's extremely unfair that people are calling her the new Lindsay Lohan," a friend of the actress told RadarOnline.com in April. "Amanda doesn't harbor any negative feelings towards Lindsay, she doesn't even know her, she just thinks it's sexist that the two are being compared. Men in Hollywood that get arrested for DUIs don't face the same scrutiny that women do and that is what really irks Amanda."
