Amanda Bynes Pleads Not Guilty to Two Misdemeanor Hit and Run Charges

While Amanda Bynes avoids Lindsay Lohan in NYC, her hardworking attorney entered two not guilty pleas on her behalf in a Van Nuys courtroom today.

Amanda was popped for a hit and run and suspected DUI in April and another hit and run in August.

After the first two arrests, Amanda famously Tweeted at the president in hopes he would help her.

"Hey @BarackObama... I don't drink. Please fire the cop who arrested me. I also don't hit and run. The end," she wrote.

The hit-and-run case is due back in court Oct. 19, and she has a trial date regarding the DUI on Oct. 29.

The former Nickelodean actress has hung up her thesbian ambitions and now wants to devote her time to fashion design in NYC.

"I am retired as an actor. I am moving to New York to launch my career," she told People. "I am going to do a fashion line. I am not talking about being arrested for DUI because I don't drink, and I don't drink and drive. It is all false."
