'American Idol' Alum James Durbin & Heidi Lowe Tie the Knot on New Year's Eve

American Idol alum James Durbin tied the knot with longtime love and mother to his son Hunter, Heidi Lowe, on New Year’s Eve in Santa Cruz, Calif.!

“They were married last night in a tiny chapel in the Redwood Forest outside of Santa Cruz and are so elated,” a rep for James told OK! on Sunday.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the couple said their vows in front of about 85 guests in a very intimate ceremony in the mountains.

The 22-year-old's fellow Idol contestants from last season, such as Casey Abrams, Stefano Langone and Haley Reinhart, looked on as Hunter, 2, carried the rings down the aisle to his parents.

The doting dad's rep added of the newlyweds future plans, “Today they are spending time with family & friends before heading off on their honeymoon tomorrow.  James will also celebrate his 23rd birthday this Friday, Jan. 6."
