Amy Winehouse Posthumous Album: Rep Says There Is "Plenty" of Material

Amy Winehouse's rep, Chris Goodman, says the singer left "plenty" of music behind for a potential posthumous album, but a decision has not been made yet as to whether or not one will be released.

On Saturday, Amy was found dead at her London home for unknown causes at the young age of 27.

The Associated Press (via Huffington Post) reports that Goodman said on Thursday the singer left behind "plenty" of material, but a discussion has not taken place yet about releasing anything.

In her lifetime, Amy only released two albums and had been in the recording studio periodically over the past few years. A new album was scheduled to be released, but Amy was never able to finish it.

Producer Salaam Remi was working on new material with Amy before her death and told New York's Power 105.1 radio station that there was not a lot of finished material.

"We had a lot of things going, there are recordings, but first things first, I think," he said. "We're trying to focus on what's at hand and what her family wants to do."
