Angelina Jolie is currently in Pakistan, trying to help draw attention to the flood victims of the nation, and says she's disappointed that back home in the U.S., a church in Florida is planning to burn copies of the Quran on the ninth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks in NYC.

Angie, a United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Goodwill Ambassador, held a press conference in Islamabad on Wednesday after visiting refugee camps in the country.
"I have hardly the words that somebody would do that to somebody's religious book," Jolie told reporters, according to the Associated Press (via PopEater).
The book burning is being organized by Pastor Terry Jones of the Dove World Outreach Center, an anti-Islam, evangelical Christian church in Gainesville, Florida.
Although U.S. government officials have called their plan a "disgraceful act" that could endanger U.S. troops in the Middle East and around the world, Jones said he plans to move forward with the burning.

Outrage over the plan has erupted in the Muslim world, but Pakistan is mainly focused on the flood.
"I was shocked especially by how high the flood waters went," Angelina told reporters. "In some of the people's houses, it was 9 feet high."
More than 1,700 people have died in the six weeks since the monsoon rains hit and 10 million people are now without shelter.
The United Nations hopes Angelina's visit to Pakistan will help get the funds the country needs.
"There's lots of speculation about why this one has not gotten the attention it deserves," Angie said. "Even all of the wonderful coverage ... is not getting the response that usually it's able to get."
