"There's one person who has a gripe," Angie told reports in Paris today (via E! News) about the protests over her directorial debut film. "The absolute majority of the people, population, the cast, prime minister, president have been extremely supportive."
A rumor spread that Angelina's film told the story of a Bosnian Muslim woman who falls in love with her Serbian soldier rapist during the 1990s conflict, which angered several female victims.

Even though that is not the plot of Angie's film, the protests caused a Bosnian minister to cancel a film permit, but it was later reissued.

But Angie is still defending her film!
"I wanted to learn more about it and the people, the more I read and learned I was drawn to that part of the world," she said. "I met artists from that part of the world and found they were extraordinary for what they'd gone through, so I wanted to give them a platform."
