Angelina Jolie & Leonardo DiCaprio Share Reactions to Golden Globe Nominations

Hollywood's hottest stars are reacting to their nominations for the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards! 

Everyone from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to Leonardo DiCaprio and George Clooney have earned Golden Globe nods and are thrilled to be included among such esteemed actors and actresses whom they consider friends.

"I am grateful that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association is honoring our film," Angelina says (via Access Hollywood) of the best foreign language film nomination for In the Land of Blood and Honey, which she wrote and directed. "This was a true collaboration and I am forever indebted to our cast and crew, who experienced their own personal tragedies in the Bosnian War and gave me an authentic perspective into the conflict. This nomination is a tribute to the collective talent and passion of this extraordinary cast."

Leonardo, who earned recognition for his role in J.Edgar, tells Access, “I’m honored to be nominated by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association today. I was extremely humbled to work alongside Clint Eastwood and the entire cast of J. Edgar, and am very excited to be recognized for my work on the film. Thank you.”

And Meryl Streep, who is no stranger to award ceremonies, is simply ecstatic to be representing her film, The Iron Lady. "I'm thrilled to be included in this beautiful group of actors and actresses," she says of all the nominees. "I’m very proud of our movie and look forward to seeing everyone at the party in January."
