Angelina Jolie's 'Salt' Doesn't Shake 'Inception' at the Box Office

Leonardo DiCaprio's Inception stole the movie top slot from Angelina Jolie's spy thriller, Salt, this weekend, remaining number one for the second week in a row.

Leo's mind-boggling movie made studio dreams come true by taking $43.5 million at the box office, raising its total take to $143.7 million, reports the Washington Post.

Salt, which features Angie as a rogue CIA agent who's on the run from Russian and American spy bosses, debuted at second place and took $36.5 million.

In third place, Steve Carell kept the box office light with his comedy Despicable Me, which took $24.1 million, marking a rare week in which the top three movies are all original stories.
