Life can only get better for Anne Hathaway.
“I am a late bloomer,” the actress, 28, says at her One Day premiere held Monday at AMC Loews Lincoln Square 13 in NYC. “I think a lot of women out there are. I think there’s a lot of pressure to feel like you have it all together in your early 20s; I certainly did not feel that way, nor did I have it all together. There’s something very nice about getting older and realizing that getting it together is something you do over the course of your entire life. All of a sudden, you’re about to turn 30, and everything gets a lot more fun.”

For Anne, who dates Adam Shulman, the concept of each person having a soul mate is not only possible, but probable.
“I think there’s a lot of people out there, but I think that usually there’s one person out there that you find for eternity.”
When it comes to love at first sight, Anne’s not opposed.
“Why not? I think it’s a good thing to believe in. I think it would be a shame if we didn’t have that. I think the world would be a lot less fun.”
Psst: She looks ultra-fit in her Alexander McQueen gown, thanks to her title role in Catwoman, which is filming now.
One Day is in theaters Aug. 19.
