Since her boyfriend of four years, Italian businessman Raffaello Follieri, was arrested in June, Anne Hathaway has stayed mum on the topic, choosing instead simply put on a smile at press events and move on with her life.
But in the October issue of W magazine, the Princess Diaries actress finally talks about her former flame, who just pleaded guilty Wednesday to criminal charges of wire fraud and conspiracy, among others.
"As soon as I found out about the arrest, I had to get on a plane to Mexico to do a press tour for 'Get Smart,' " she tells the magazine. "And then I spent a week in shock at a friend's house. And then I had to go back and do more press, and I haven't stopped since."
At the time of his arrest, the couple shared an apartment, and Anne says she's still looking for a place to live while staying at her friends' place.

"I have to find a place to live," she says. "It's a situation where the rug was pulled out from under me all of a sudden, but just as suddenly my friends threw another rug back under me."
