NEWS'Black-ish' Star Anthony Anderson Accused Of Assault

Anthony Anderson is reportedly under criminal investigation for allegedly assaulting a woman.
According to The Blast, the incident happened over a year ago after the woman catered an event hosted by the ABC star. However, the site further explained the alleged assault happened occurred after the woman and Anthony met a second time to discuss potential business opportunities.
“We have a crime report listing him as a suspect in a crime. It is an open investigation," the LAPD confirmed to the site.

Anthony is denying the accusations. A spokesperson for the actor said, “It’s unfortunate that anyone can file a police report whether it is true or false. The authorities have not contacted Anthony or any of his representatives about this matter. Anthony unequivocally disputes the claim.”
