The Beatles have withheld their music from iTunes for years, but have now made a deal with Apple and the company announced the news loud and proud on their website.
"We love the Beatles and are honored and thrilled to welcome them to iTunes," Apple CEO Steve Jobs said in a news release (via ABC News). "It has been a long and winding road to get here. Thanks to the Beatles and EMI, we are now realizing a dream we've had since we launched iTunes 10 years ago."
Apple's iTunes is now set to sell 13 remastered Beatles albums and a special digital "Beatles Box Set" will also be available online.
