Ashlee Simpson Isn't Spending All Of Pete's Cash

Don't worry Bronx — mommy and daddy are just fine! The good folks at GossipCop.com have brought the axe down on a false tabloid report claiming that Ashlee Simpson's marriage to Pete Wentz is on the rocks because her "splurging habits are out of control."

The original, apparently false story stated that there is tension in the Simpson-Wentz household over Ashley's spending habits, including one allegation that she recently spent more than $20,000 on his credit cards.

However, a rep for the couple told Gossip Cop that the tabloid report "is a complete fabrication," adding that the supposedly "strained" couple "just celebrated their sons first birthday together."
