Austin Mahone Forced To Reschedule Tour After Hospitalization

We still can't believe Austin Mahone was rushed to the hospital Thursday! The teen heartthrob prefaced the event on Twitter Wednesday by announcing his first two kick-off  shows were sadly postponed due to a bad flu and 103 degree fever. "Mahomies I’m so so so sorry but I have to reschedule the shows tomorrow in Miami and in Orlando," Austin reported. He quickly followed up with, "I can’t believe this is happening its my first tour I’m so upset. I feel like I’m letting you all down."

Fans received even more upsetting news Thursday after Austin was admitted to the hospital. "Due to illness, Austin Mahone will unfortunately have to postpone his sold out MTV Artist to Watch Presents Tour to 2014," the official press release explained. "The singer ... is now on strict Dr.'s orders to stay on rest and will need to reschedule all dates on the tour."

Austin's mom later took to Twitter to ease worried followers by stating, "Hey Mahomies its @michelemahone Austin is very ill. Unfortunately we are going to have to postpone the entire MTV Artist to Watch Tour." Throughout the evening Michele continued to share messages from her son like, "Austin is very upset about this & we want to say we are sorry to all the Mahomies & their parents who have made arrangements to come out," and "We feel very bad but we have no choice but to POSTPONE the tour for now. Thank you for your prayers #PrayforAustin."
