'Bachelor' Crew Told to Shut Their Mouths in Wake of On-Set Scandal

This season's The Bachelor: On The Wings of Love has been promoting its "shocking scandal" — A female contestant's affair with a behind-the-scenes crew member that was most definitely not bachelor Jake Pavelka. And after nipping that fling in the bud, producers made sure the clandestine situation won't happen again.
"The crew for the show was then instructed not to speak to any of the contestants," a source tells OK! of the affair's fallout. "They were really strict about it. It was just really odd to have the crew not communicate when the women were with them shooting scenes."
Producers of The Bachelor put their foot down as they ended the affair, but continued taping the hit ABC series to help Jake eventually find his future co-pilot.
"The producers wanted to create a Stockholm syndrome," the source continues. "They wanted the women to only fall in love with Jake, and not have them consider any of the guys on crew."
Bachelor Jake himself has admitted, "It is a very rocky and dramatic season... Some of the things that happened on the show, drama-wise, floored me."
