Last night on The Bachelor, Brad Womack knew his four hometown visits awaited! After he flew to Washington, Maine, California and North Carolina, there was only one question left: Who would be left out in the cold as we head into the final three next week? Let's just say based on cremation conversations it was not given to the funeral home bachelorette!

Remember that ol' song on Sesame Street about which of these items do not belong and is not like the others? Enter Shawntel Newton's family business — a funeral parlor. As they talked about whether or not Brad will be cremated (which of course led to the next question: Where would his ashes be placed?), according to E! Online, she proceeded to mimic some of the procedures, even as Brad politely tried to deal with the conversation. Keep in mind, this is a guy who has said he does not like talking about death! When it was time to leave Shawntel's dad put pressure on Brad and told him it's his daughter's obligation to take over the family biz.

As for the other dates, let's just say they weren't as intense although emotions were running high. Chantal O'Brien let the tears rip again and mentioned to Brad that she lives four streets away from her folks and if they don't like her future husband, "You're out!" He also had to deal with the approval test of her three pets. All in all, it seemed to be a good visit as her dad gave him their blessing and Chantal had a heart-to-heart chat with her mom.

Next up? Maine with Ashley Hebert. Brad seemed to be comfortable with her family and described them as "such a happy family." He learned that you don't eat poutine (french fries with cheese and gravy toppings) with a fork, among other things like the honor system when it comes to grocery shopping in the little town close to Canada. All in all, he seemed like a happy camper.

Lastly, Brad and Emily Maynard arrived in North Carolina where Brad met her five-year-old daughter, Rikki. She seemed to be shy and not too interested in meeting this new friend but Brad brought her a butterfly kite which broke the ice. The three of them enjoyed a day in the park and then played board games at night. Only glitch? The goodnight kiss. Brad mentioned to Emily he didn't feel comfortable kissing her out of respect for her daughter. She seemed miffed but then said she respects the fact that he's being sweet...and then she plants one on him on his way out!
What did you think about last night's episode? Did Brad make the right decision to snub Shawntel?
