The Bachelorette star Meredith Phillips was looking to find her future husband when she went on reality television in 2004. Today, she reveals she has a new goal—staying sober.
"I really can only focus on one thing at a time right now," Meredith, who hasn't touched alcohol in 150 days, tells People.

Meredith reached her rock bottom six months ago. She got to the point of downing over 20 bottles of wine weekly, and blacking out was a daily occurrence.

"For years I'd wake up every day feeling like I was hit by a truck," she reveals.

Finally, Meredith knew she had to get help. "I realized I was going to kill myself," she reveals. "There wasn't another path for me other than to stop. I'm finally starting to live my life again."
