Nick Carter Blasts Joey Fatone's Comments on the Backstreet Boys Reunion

Ruh-roh, let's get ready for a boy band rumble.

Just yesterday Joey Fatone stomped on the dreams of 'N Sync fans everywhere when he told HuffPost Live there is zero chance the group will reunite (but, really, did we think Justin was going to leave behind his smokin' solo career? No.). But Joey didn't stop there...he went on to say the Backstreet Boys are touring again because "they just need the money." Ouch!

OK! News: Backstreet Boy Nick Carter Reveals Baby Plans with New Wife Lauren Kitt

While we haven't taken a look at BSB's financials (that's a story for another day!), Nick Carter took to Twitter to shoot down the allegations.

"Just disappointed, I really liked joey...," the singer tweeted from his account @NickCarter.

In a separate tweet he wrote, "I'm proud of who we are and love what we stand for. Truthfully its about not letting our fans down. Sorry bro but you have us all wrong."

Joey's comments must've really burned Nick up because he interrupted his honeymoon to fire back. Fortunately he tweeted again to assure everyone he was resuming his honeymoon activities.

Quit playing games with their hearts, Joey Fatone!
