Former B2K singer Omarion, 23, plays a rapper in the drama Feel the Noise, in theaters today.
He tells OK!’s Joyce Eng he looks up to Jay-Z and 50 Cent, who inspire him to be more business savvy.
First up: He’s opening his own dance studio next year. “I want to have an academy open from the morning 'til about 5 o’clock and then later on at night — it’ll be rental and classes. I plan on teaching a master class every three to six months.”

Jennifer Lopez, who produces the film, came down to the set to offer Omarion words of encouragement. “‘Keep doing your thing,’” she tells him.
He hopes he can inspire others with this flick. “The moral of the story is that you can conquer your dreams. Sometimes people think that it’s too late — but it’s never too late to follow your dreams.”
