Ben Affleck was in good company Wednesday night at the premiere of his newest movie, Company Men. Ben hung out with producer Claire Rudnick Polstein and director John Wells at the NYC premiere, sponsored by Asellina at the Gansevoort and Dobel Tequila at The Paris Theatre.
In the movie, Ben's character goes through the daunting experience of being laid off, something that unfortunately, many have had to deal with during the recession.

"I'd basically love to stand here and say I had such a hard time researching this movie, people struggling economically but it wasn't the case," Ben told reporters. "Basically anywhere I went and we shot where I grew up in Massachusetts so I could just go to guys I went to high school with, guys that I grew up with. So many of them were dealing with some of that stuff and companies that were similar to the movie."

"It's everywhere," Ben added. "I'm sure of some you here could name someone who is struggling, losing their job, lower paying job, (struggling to) make the mortgage, on the verge."
